Customer Service Representative

About the role

As the face of Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah, the Customer Service Representative provides accurate information, guides customers, controls guest lines, and organizes tour departures to ensure tours stay on schedule. Your professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm will shape guests' first impressions of our company.

Responsibilities

• Hand out brochures and collect ticket stubs from guests, applying date stamps or directing guests to ticket booths.
• Gather ticket stubs and e-tickets for redemption by Sales Representatives.
• Provide accurate local tourism-related information.
• Assist in boarding passengers, ensuring guest satisfaction and on-time departures.
• Provide ridership numbers to the dispatcher at required intervals.

Requirements

• High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse team and the general public.
• Ability to handle unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people calmly and courteously.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to learn new duties, policies, and procedures and adapt to new situations quickly.
• Pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
• Passion for helping people and creating memorable Savannah experiences.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• Outgoing personality with a passion for working with the public.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
