Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process customer quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and stock orders
  • Aid outside sales representatives by obtaining vendor pricing and generating competitive quotes
  • Ensure all orders are entered accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with vendors daily to request pricing and product availability, obtain and track ETA updates, and follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays proactively
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs, process stock replenishment orders, and coordinate with internal team members (e.g., Chase)
  • Help maintain optimal inventory levels to support customer demand
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and order updates, provide support to legacy or key accounts as needed, and maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness
  • Ensure all transactions are properly documented with supporting paperwork and maintain organized records for quotes, orders, vendor confirmations, and verify pricing, quantities, and terms on all transactions
  • Manage and process all orders associated with Sherwin-Williams products, ensuring compliance with vendor-specific requirements and ordering processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, or inside sales (industrial or distribution experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP or order entry systems is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in industrial distribution, construction materials, or corrosion control products
  • Experience working with vendor quotes and supply chain coordination
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes
