About the role
Join our team as an Aviation Customer Service Representative and play a vital role in our daily operations, providing an elite level of customer service to crew and passengers. You’ll ensure an extraordinary stay for clients through warm welcomes, concierge service, and collaboration with ground personnel to complete and invoice all ground services. Freeman Jet Center services private, military, and commercial aircraft, celebrating our passion for aviation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Handle and route telephone calls with a customer-oriented approach
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers during over-the-counter sales
- Perform data entry, communicate with customers via email, track inventory, and process financial transactions using Point of Sale systems
- Maintain excellent attention to detail while ensuring timely and efficient service
- Connect clients to appropriate personnel
- Perform administrative support tasks as needed
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to handle payment processing, invoicing, and associated computer entries accurately
- Experience providing top-quality customer service in a face-to-face setting (preferred)
- Friendly and attentive personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with conflict resolution in a customer service environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer skills (e.g., POS systems, accounting systems, Excel)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask effectively, including interacting with customers, answering phones, and attending to computer work
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must comply with zero-tolerance drug-free policy, including pre-employment and random screenings
Skills
- Customer focus with a naturally outgoing/extroverted demeanor
- Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and via radio
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Point of Sale programs
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and meet the company’s insurability requirements (clean driving record)
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Stand to greet customers during verbal exchanges and walk throughout the facility to interact with customers
- Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery

Schedule
- Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: Off
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
