Schedule

  • Averages 20 hours per week
  • Generally Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Flexibility for scheduled City events

Responsibilities

  • Checks availability and registers individuals over the phone or in person for a program, activity, class, or membership
  • Checks availability and assists individuals over the phone or in person with facility reservations
  • Explains rules and policies
  • Obtains necessary contact information from customer
  • Collections and enters payments, balances drawer and submits cash journal reports
  • Contact customers when issues arise
  • Communicates with Building Services staff regarding rental changes
  • Maintains clean and organized workspace
  • Answers phone, email and assists walk-in visitors
  • Follows up with renters and customers who have balances and paperwork due
  • Scans and files documents

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least two years of customer service experience

Physical And Environmental Factors

  • Work is performed in a busy environment
  • Requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • Requires mobility to move about the parks and recreation facilities as needed
  • Requires visual acuity to review information for accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned

Pay

The rate of pay is $18.96 per hour.
