Customer Service Representative

About the role

Our Customer Service Representatives are passionate animal lovers who provide our human and pet guests with “wow” service. CSRs are our first points of contact with guests and are focused on building great relationships. We are an employee-owned and operated company with over 80 locations in twenty-six states, offering growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Main lobby operations – check-ins, check-outs, guest visits and tours, answering general questions
• Answering and handling calls in a professional manner
• Maintaining cleanliness of the facility
• Scheduling
• File maintenance
• Data entry
• Welcomes both human and pet guests
• Correctly identify animal body language/behavior
• Follows safe handling procedures
• Checking in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer service
• Escorts pets to and from their rooms
• Takes reservations over the phone
• Works both individually and as a team player while performing duties
• Contributes to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
• Communication with management and other team members

Requirements

• Possess a love of animals
• Display a professional manner at all times
• Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
• Lift/carry 40 pounds or more
• Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work on a computer system
• Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• At least 1 year of professional animal experience
