About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, your role is responsible for delivering excellence in service and contributing to the mission of protecting businesses, people, and time. This role will focus on accurate and timely assistance to our customers with scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of calls/emails to support our customers.
- Enter high volumes of data into various systems timely and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customers have a positive experience.
- Act as a resource for other functions within AWP.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries using a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Provide general office support and peer training as requested.
- Comply with all AWP policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Call center/customer service experience preferred.
- AR/Billing experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail; organized.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outgoing & assertive personality – not afraid to approach individuals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word).
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Salesforce software preferred.
Employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following: Hours of operation are 24/7, 365 days a year.
Schedule
Monday-Friday Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM EST
