Customer Service Representative-3
U‑Haul is seeking a hard‑working, knowledgeable Hitch Service Technician to work in U‑Haul Moving and Storage Center lots, providing outstanding service to customers using advanced technical expertise. The role offers immediate start, on‑the‑spot pay for hands‑on working interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U‑Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1‑2‑3 Punch Certification Program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Understand and explain U‑Haul’s variety of towing packages.
- Recommend and install the appropriate tow package on customer vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to U‑Haul customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
- Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. Protective clothing or gear (e.g., masks, goggles, gloves, shields) may be required.
Physical Demands
The position requires physical exertion, including long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lb, either assisted or unassisted.
