Responsibilities
As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will support sales growth through customer engagement, order management, and lead follow-up, while delivering a high-quality customer experience. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication, accurate order processing, and timely follow-through. This position plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth, maintaining customer relationships, and driving operational excellence within Fenner’s sales organization.
- Customer & Sales Support
- Manage inbound customer inquiries, including requests for quotes, order status, and product information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support retention and growth
- Provide timely and accurate quotes, pricing, and product information
- Support outside sales and sales managers with account management and follow-up
- Order Management & Execution
- Enter and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Track orders and proactively communicate updates or issues to customers
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, escalating as needed
- Lead Management & Sales Growth
- Support lead qualification and follow-up activities to drive conversion
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity within CRM systems
- Assist in pipeline tracking and reporting
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to support customer needs
- Provide feedback on customer trends, product needs, and market insights
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Contribute to sales initiatives, campaigns, and ongoing business development efforts
Requirements
We’re seeking a team member who:
- 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or related roles
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
