Essential Job Functions
- Works with internal and external customers to provide service to high-profile customers.
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries while providing professional customer support.
- Handles customer complaints and provides appropriate solutions.
- Processes parts orders and parts returns requested by internal and external customers.
- Works with scheduling team to ensure all hot requests are prioritized and managed accordingly.
- Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
- Communicates and coordinates with colleagues as necessary.
Qualifications
- Training and/or Experience: Minimum 1 year experience with a manufacturing or distribution company in a materials environment. Minimum 1 year customer service experience. Inventory or production control experience preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Intermediate Excel experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service type/related role.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
