Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
• Take orders over the phone and in person
• Handle customer concerns professionally
• Manage cash handling and make correct monetary change
• Upsell menu items to customers
• Prepare Domino’s high-quality pizzas and other food items
• Maintain food and portion control standards
• Ensure hygiene and food safety protocols are followed
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain a tidy workspace
• Operate all store equipment safely and efficiently
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas
• Receive and process telephone orders accurately
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, such as entering orders on a computer or touch screen
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from coolers (36°F) to hot work areas (90°F and above)
• Tolerance for exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped workspaces
• Ability to handle hot surfaces and tools (up to 500°F or higher) safely
• Comfort working around sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and handle stress
• Capability to meet strict quality control standards and make judgments and decisions

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position
• Walking: Short distances for brief durations
• Lifting: Deliveries include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds; cases are lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 inches high
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time over short distances)
• Pushing: Trays on dollies (stacks up to 24-30 inches high, requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force to push)
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is required at the pizza assembly station and front counter; duration is approximately 30-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally required for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas
• Reaching: Continuous reaching (up, down, and forward) for tasks throughout the day
• Hand Tasks: Frequent and forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists, particularly for shaping pizza dough

Work Conditions

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash)
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in work areas
• Sudden temperature changes when moving between indoor and outdoor areas
• Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust
• Cramped workspaces, including walk-in coolers
