Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare product, including shaping pizza dough and assembling pizzas.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Handle monetary transactions, including making correct change.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., handling dough, using a pizza peel).
• Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, including depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Capacity to work under stress, meet quality standards, and collaborate with others.

Skills

• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Ability to analyze and compile data, make judgments, and decisions.
• Proficiency in using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, stocking shelves, or answering phones.
• Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Frequent and forceful use of shoulders, forearms, and wrists (e.g., shaping dough, using a pizza peel or cutter).
