Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Prepare product, including shaping pizza dough.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements (e.g., handling pizza dough, using a pizza peel).
- Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, including depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Capability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments/decisions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, stocking shelves, or answering phones.
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Frequent and forceful use of shoulders, forearms, and wrists (e.g., shaping dough, using a pizza peel, handling boxes).
