Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, quotes, purchase orders, and order modifications
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding pricing, availability, lead times, shipments, and order status
- Maintain accurate customer and order information within ERP and CRM systems
- Cook up coordination with inventory, purchasing, logistics, shipping, operations, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates, delays, and resolutions to customers
- Support returns, credits, and customer issue resolution
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel daily to manage communications, reporting, and customer records
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness when interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of customer service, order management, order entry, customer account support, or sales support experience
- Experience working with physical products, inventory, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally through email and phone
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or business management systems
- Strong attention to detail, follow-up, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
