About the role
MCI is a fast-growing tech-enabled business services company with a strong presence in call centers and operations across multiple countries. We provide Customer Experience, Business Process Outsourcing, and Anything-as-a-Service solutions to various industries including healthcare, retail, government, education, telecom, technology, e-commerce, and finance.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, aiming for first-call resolution.
- Research and coordinate with other departments to solve complex inquiries.
- Accurately document customer interactions and claims.
- Use the knowledge base and training to answer questions and follow procedures.
- Protect customer privacy and handle sensitive information securely.
- Escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with training, meetings, and process updates.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to type at least 20 WPM.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills.
- A customer-first mindset: empathetic, patient, and responsive.
- Team-oriented with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, tech support, sales, chat, or admin roles.
- Experience in a contact center or government-related work.
Conditions of Employment

- Subject to the program and location of the position.
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.

Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
