About the role

As a Customer Service Insurance Assistant (Commercial), you will support independent agents and customers by managing inbound inquiries related to small business insurance policies. This role is essential for maintaining accurate account information, processing payments, and preparing necessary insurance documents, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and respond to requests for account and policy information.
• Take payments and process insurance documents.
• Assemble files for additional processing.
• Follow detailed procedures to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
• Meet metrics related to phone handle time, after-call work, schedule adherence, and service tracking.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer requests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computers required.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, structured team environment.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and various applications/systems.
• Ability to exchange routine and non-routine information effectively.
• Meet work-from-home requirements including a dedicated workspace and wired high-speed internet.
