We are excited to have you join our passionate team of aviation professionals. As a Customer Service Gate Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless boarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- Maintain computerized passenger boarding systems
- Provide assistance to customers with special needs, such as wheelchair arrangements and unaccompanied minors
- Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary
- Operate the Jetway
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet departmental goals
Requirements
- Successfully complete the Gate Agent training course
- Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
- Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours
Qualifications and Competencies
- Completion of a training course
- Able to meet company goals and customer expectations in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous airline experience
- Experience working in a front-line customer service role
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
Physical Requirements
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs
- Handling objects weighing up to 70 pounds
- Assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Criminal History Records Check
- Drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
