We are excited to have you join our passionate team of aviation professionals. As a Customer Service Gate Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- Maintain computerized passenger boarding systems
- Provide assistance to customers with special needs, including wheelchair arrangements and unaccompanied minors
- Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary
- Operate the Jetway
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet corporate objectives
Requirements
- Successfully complete the Gate Agent training course
- Lift up to 70 pounds
- Work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours
Qualifications and Competencies
- Successful completion of a training course
- Able to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous airline experience
- Previous front-line customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
Physical Requirements
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds
- Assist passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Clear 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- Pass a drug screen as required
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Minimum 18 years of age
