Customer Service Gate Agent (Full-Time)

About the role

We are excited to have you join our passionate team of aviation professionals. As a Customer Service Gate Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Maintain computerized passenger boarding systems
• Provide assistance to customers with special needs, such as wheelchair arrangements and unaccompanied minors
• Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary
• Operate the Jetway
• Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding customer service and meet departmental goals

Requirements

• Successfully complete the Gate Agent training course
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours

Qualifications and Competencies

• Completion of a training course
• Able to meet company goals and customer expectations in a dynamic environment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous airline experience
• Experience working in front-line customer service roles
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs

Physical Requirements

• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs
• Handling objects weighing up to 70 pounds
• Assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs

Job Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• Clear 10-year Criminal History Records Check
• Pass a drug screen as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
