Responsibilities
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing MRI, CT, and other Imaging Equipment in the Oregon area.
- Installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
- Delivering timely and effective repairs, as well as providing adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance. li>Managing financial performance within the territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Managing company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2+ years of field service experience is desired.
- Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
- Physical requirements: Lifting 50lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
