Customer Service Delivery Technician - Home Medical Equipment

About the Role

This position involves delivering and instructing patients on home medical equipment, ensuring safe and proper usage while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and instruct patients on the use of medical equipment.
• Assess home safety and ensure proper equipment usage.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and complete regulatory paperwork.
• Perform deliveries, pick-ups, and equipment exchanges.
• Document all activities accurately and support infection control standards.
• Support team orientation and work independently as needed.
• Respond to on-call shifts and potential exposure to environmental conditions and hazards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in home medical equipment or delivery (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills and equipment knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow infection control policies.
