Customer Service Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to support in Erlanger, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract position focuses on reviewing applications, gathering required documentation, updating records in Excel and internal databases, and guiding clients through the eligibility process with professionalism and empathy. Success in this position requires strong accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage a high volume of client information in a fast-paced service environment. Responsibilities:• Review submitted assistance applications, enter information into internal systems and spreadsheets, and maintain complete and accurate case records.• Contact applicants to request missing documents, clarify submitted information, and keep files moving toward timely eligibility decisions.• Process requests for emergency financial support, including coordination related to utility assistance, rental support, and other household stability services.• Communicate clearly with clients about documentation needs, application status, benefit decisions, and next steps in the process. • Demonstrated experience in data entry, customer service, or administrative support within a fast-paced environment. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage detailed information with speed and accuracy. • Ability to communicate professionally with clients while handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion. • Experience reviewing documents, verifying information, and maintaining organized electronic records. • Knowledge of housing, financial assistance, or community service programs is helpful, including familiarity with affordable or multifamily housing environments. • Comfortable speaking with customers to resolve issues, explain requirements, and provide clear follow-up guidance. • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
