Title: Customer Service Clerk Location: Bethesda, MD 20814 Duration: 2+ months with possible extensions Job Description Position Summary: Job Overview The client is seeking a Temporary Catering Call Center Associate to support our catering customers and store teams. This role serves as a central point of contact for catering inquiries and orders, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring orders are accurately entered, updated, and communicated to stores for execution. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming catering calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding menu offerings, pricing, availability, and order status. Take and enter catering orders accurately into the FoodStorm catering management system. Process order changes, cancellations, and special requests. Monitor and respond to catering emails in a timely and professional manner. Confirm order details with customers and assist with issue resolution. Coordinate with store catering teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Support online order management and follow up on customer requests as needed. Maintain accurate customer and order records. Assist with billing inquiries and payment-related questions. Provide a positive, professional customer experience on every interaction. Qualification HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Minimum 1+ years previous call center, customer service, hospitality, retail or administrative experience. Candidate must have working knowledge of MS office, email and teams. Strong customer service and telephone communication skills. Excellent written communication skills, including email correspondence. Comfortable with data entry and working in multiple computer systems simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Experience with catering, food service, or order management software is a plus, but training will be provided.
