Customer Service Banker

Location: Ashland, NH | Full-time, including rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to customers
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between teller and customer service positions as needs arise
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings, and time deposits
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs-based inquiry
• Respond to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of experience in customer service and/or cash handling
• Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
• Ability to travel between branch locations as needed
• Prior bank teller transaction knowledge a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Performed in a branch environment and requires regular standing and movement
• Requires visual and manual dexterity to operate office equipment
• Occasional handling of up to 40 pounds, and some bending and lifting
• Independent travel to other branches or locations may be required

Pay

Starting pay begins at $21.63 per hour and is negotiable based on level of experience.
