Customer Service Attendant - Graziano's Weston
Job Summary
Greets incoming customers, answers phone calls, and customer questions and requests. Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issues refunds, voids, or credits to customers with manager approval. Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Calculates total payments received during a time period and reconciles this with total sales. Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested. Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas. Completes general cleaning duties such as clean tables, chairs, and floors. Removes dirty dishes, sets tables, replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware condiments & bread. Empties trash cans. Assists customers by providing information and resolving their complaints. Restocks and rolls silverware and assists with stocking stations. Answers questions related to drinks, menu, bakery and catering. Checks with guests to make sure that they are enjoying their meals and is initiative-taking to correct any problem. Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen. Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers. Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen. Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
Education & Experience
- Previous experience as a server preferred.
- Must successfully complete restaurant's training course.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
