Customer Service Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate (CSA) to join our team at Wawa. As a CSA, you will greet and serve our customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. You will also prepare food items, operate the cash register, and perform various other tasks to help maintain a welcoming and clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas, as well as keep the coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more.

Qualifications

• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro.
• Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - $19.25 and is commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position will receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.

Schedule

Hours may vary based on store needs and may include evening and weekend shifts.
