Responsibilities

• Sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Register customer purchases, collect cash and distribute change, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain counters and shelves, take inventory, and keep records. Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Create and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separating food items, placing products according to policies, and rotating consumable items using the first in, first out method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment. Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster printing, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures. Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
