About the role

The Customer Service Associate position at Savers / Value Village is responsible for creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role supports our mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in-store.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
  • Manage inventory, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
  • Engage with donors, promoting the importance of donating gently-used items.
  • Support team members, offering guidance and fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
