About the role
The Customer Service Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
- Manage inventory by accurately tagging, sorting, and organizing products.
- Engage with donors to ensure they have a positive experience and understand how donations benefit the community.
- Support team members by offering guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
