About the role

The Customer Service Associate position at Savers / Value Village is responsible for creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role supports the company's mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage inventory and ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and inquiries from customers and donors.
  • Assist with donations and sorting of items for resale.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.08 per hour, depending on job duties and position.
