About the role

The Customer Service Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for our Customers, Donors, and other Team Members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure their shopping experience is memorable.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assist customers in finding products they need and answer questions about store policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate counts and restocking of merchandise.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient store environment.
• Support the donation process for customers and donors, ensuring items are accepted and processed correctly.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $15.81 depending on job duties and position.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on store needs, typically ranging from early morning to late evening.
