About the role
Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This role involves being the first point of contact for customers, greeting them in-store and over the phone, scheduling appointments, explaining services, selling parts and automotive services, performing routine vehicle services, supporting shop productivity, ensuring safety procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and resolving customer concerns.Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in-store and over the phone.
- Schedule appointments, explain services, and sell parts and automotive services.
- Perform routine vehicle services: oil changes, tire rotations, battery installation, fluid top-offs, and inspections.
- Support shop productivity through work order and register transactions.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Help resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license.
- 1+ year of automotive service experience; 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable with basic math and calculating discounts/commissions.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Climb ladders and safely operate a vehicle.
