Customer/Passenger Service Agent - P/T
About the role
The Customer Service Agent will be responsible for various tasks including check-in, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and assisting passengers with issues in the airport. This position requires adherence to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and other passenger issues in the airport.
- Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft.
- Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
- Ensure that all work areas are organized and functional (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage).
- Make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats in the gate area.
Requirements
- Must currently live within the Tucson area.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Computer skills required for using computer-based systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive, can-do, upbeat personality.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English, ability to remain calm under pressure, and a positive attitude are essential. Must also have a positive, can-do, upbeat personality, able to remain calm under pressure.
