About the Role

The Customer Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations while providing coaching, development, and training to staff members. This role involves recommending improvements to facilities, equipment, machinery, and processes, ensuring staff performance meets standards, and driving progress toward business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
  • Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize shift and team logistics.
  • Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
  • Conduct regular team and individual meetings to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
  • Promote team spirit, diversity, and inclusion while seeking opportunities to improve internal processes.
  • Perform performance evaluations and recommend awards or merit increases as appropriate.
  • Address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
  • Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
  • Implement health, safety, and security initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Provide orientation, information, technology, and materials necessary for employees to perform their jobs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Zero to one (1) year of direct supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • DOT Regulated: No.

Pay

Salaried position with a pay range between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and type.
