Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer calls in a courteous and timely manner while resolving questions, concerns, and service requests.
- Enter and manage orders submitted through the business-to-business channel, ensuring details are complete and processed accurately.
- Document customer communications and updates in the company’s CRM and related systems to maintain clear account histories.
- Support customers by researching issues, coordinating next steps, and providing helpful solutions that align with service expectations.
- Complete administrative and back-office tasks that help keep daily customer service operations running smoothly.
- Monitor customer accounts, identify items requiring follow-up, and take appropriate action to address outstanding needs.
- Perform billing-related activities, review account charges, and help manage order backlogs and backordered items.
- Maintain accurate customer records by updating account details, order information, and interaction notes as changes occur.
Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, customer support, or a similar client-facing role.
- Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Experience using CRM platforms or other systems to track customer interactions and account activity.
- Working knowledge of order processing, billing support, and backorder management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist customers clearly and effectively.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative and data-entry tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and comfortable balancing phone-based customer support with administrative follow-up.
