Customer Experience, Product Marketing Manager, Networking
About the role
The Customer Experience (CX) Marketing team’s role is to differentiate and elevate Cisco as an advanced customer experience that is personalized, proactive, and predictive. The Product Marketing team has a mix of high-performing product marketers and go-to-market strategists, encompassing experience across positioning, messaging, content strategy and development, launch execution, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for multiple products and/or services across multiple portfolios.
Architect comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for complex, multi-product or high-priority launches, and/or solution roll-outs or market expansions.
Define the overarching portfolio narrative and thought-leadership themes. Prepare presentations, demos, briefs, and other marketing/sales collaterals as needed.
Support the global enablement strategy for a portfolio. Align sales motions, routes to market, and partner models to ensure field readiness.
Lead structured intelligence programs (such as market surveillance and win/loss analysis) to inform strategy.
Align business units on portfolio priorities. Influence product roadmaps and capacity allocation to maximize market impact and customer value. Lead and support cross-functional initiatives (launches, events, digital journeys, competitive plays).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of related experience.
Demonstrated experience creating product vision/direction via compelling positioning and messaging.
Proven experience launching new products and growing to a mature business.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in sales discussions.
Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally.
Strong domain and technical knowledge of networking services and products.
Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
Skilled in applying AI tools and prompt engineering best practices to optimize daily tasks and improve individual and team output.
Qualifications
Previous experience in IT networking B2B marketing.
Business development experience preferred.
Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~25% of the time.
Professional and technical certifications in product marketing, AI, or Security (e.g. CCNA, CCST).

Pay
The starting salary range posted for this position is $135,800.00 to $198,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
Schedule
Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:
- 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
- 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday
- paid year-end holiday shutdown
- 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
- Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
- Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
- 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
- Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
- Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
