The Opportunity
VelocityEHS is accepting Co-op/Intern student applicants able to work 40 hours per week between the months of September - December 2026 for approximately 14-16 weeks. This is a remote opportunity and is open to candidates that reside anywhere in the United States or Canada. The opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Oakville, ON office may be available for those interested.

About the Role

As a Customer Experience (CX Intern) you will be at the heart of our dynamic department, collaborating with teams including Services, Success, and Support. Your mission is to contribute significantly to our department’s success by streamlining our processes, executing deliverables, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage different projects with varying timelines
  • Step into reoccurring projects requiring routine updates, enhancements, or maintenance to stay within compliance
  • Routine check-ins with your mentor, goal setting, and interactions with program leads and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a science (For example: Kinesiology, Engineering, Public and Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working independently as well as in a team setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, thorough, and attentive to detail

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in either/both Software and Environmental, Health & Safety industries is a plus
  • Previous related internship/work term experience preferred
