About the role

As a Customer Experience Banker, you are a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers. You are responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan and other banking products and services. You will process customer transactions accurately and efficiently to provide exemplary customer service while educating customers on bank products, services and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership.
• Adhere to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication and presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.
• This position will be subject to additional background check requirements including being required to provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $22.00–$24.00 hourly. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.
