Customer Experience Attendant

About the role

Weis Markets is looking for a Customer Experience Attendant who values respect, teamwork, and community growth.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cheerfully upon entry and thank them as they leave.
• Answer customer questions and provide assistance to ensure quality service.
• Retrieve shopping carts from the premises safely and efficiently, ensuring carts are not left in parking areas.
• Transport carts from the cart corral to the store’s front porch for customer use and remove defective carts from service.
• Load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, store vestibule, and front-end, including trash and recycling receptacles.
• Monitor safety issues, particularly in entrance and exit areas, to prevent slip and fall hazards.
• Assist cashiers by bagging groceries and respond promptly to intercom pages.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and restroom maintenance.
• Replenish supplies and dispose of waste in break rooms, back rooms, and surrounding grounds.
• Clear sidewalks and porch of snow and ice as needed.
• Notify store management of needed repairs, unsafe conditions, or supply shortages.
• Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and continuously improve job performance.
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Completed or working toward a high school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Pay

Hourly pay for this position starts at $15.30 per hour, up to $22.00 per hour.
