Customer Experience Associate

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate who values respect, teamwork, and community growth. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follow company checkout policies to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment, cash registers, and perform all related checkout procedures, including bagging merchandise and assisting customers with their carts.
• Maintain transaction accuracy, ensuring correct charges and proper collection of funds (cash, checks, electronic payments, coupons).
• Adhere to proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures to avoid overages or shortages.
• Follow store and legal guidelines for the sale of tobacco and alcohol.
• Stay informed about weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Maintain department sanitation by following cleaning schedules and guidelines, ensuring work areas, equipment, and displays meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Dispose of trash properly and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and continuously improve job performance.
• Utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including cut-resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company-sponsored footwear.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without accommodation.
• Completed or working toward a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.

Pay

Hourly rate for this position ranges from $12.77 to $20.00.
