Customer Experience Associate

Weis Markets is looking for a Customer Experience Associate who values respect, teamwork, and community growth. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store operations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follow company policies for customer checkout to enhance satisfaction.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment, cash registers, and perform all related checkout procedures, including bagging merchandise and assisting customers with their carts.
• Maintain transaction accuracy, ensuring correct charges and proper handling of cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons.
• Adhere to proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures to avoid discrepancies.
• Follow store and legal guidelines for the sale of tobacco and alcohol.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure department sanitation by following cleaning schedules and guidelines, maintaining clean work areas, equipment, and displays to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Dispose of trash properly and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors for smooth store operations.
• Continuously improve job performance and utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as cut-resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company-sponsored footwear.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.

Pay

The hourly pay for this position ranges from $15.00 to $22.00 per hour.
