Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Customer Application Engineer (CE) with a background in semiconductors to join our technical support and customer success team. In this role, you will act as a key technical liaison between our product development teams and our customers across the US and provide lab support for the Application CE team ensuring optimal integration, performance, and application of our semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers in pre-sales and post-sales stages.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products or systems.
  • Validate customer facing solutions in the lab to ensure system performance with our proposed solutions.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, technical documentation, and training.
  • Support design-in efforts for customer projects (e.g., embedded systems, precise time solutions, power electronics, RF).
  • Conduct in-depth technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region.
  • Stay current with semiconductor trends, applications, and competitive landscape.
  • Direct involvement with product marketing in product roadmap synthesis and next-generation solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering.
  • Solid knowledge of Analog/digital electronics, Integrated Circuit technology, Oscillators, PLL Clock Distribution, Embedded Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generators, phase noise analyzer etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripts for lab automation.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded C.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging hardware/software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills.

  • Able to communicate clearly: Explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative spirit: Works well with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and product marketing.
  • Cultural adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse, multinational environments.
  • Reliability: Dependable, structured, and consistent in delivering high-quality work on time.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $98,400.00 – $135,300.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company’s future growth and success.
