Customer Engineer

About the role

Field Service Technician responsible for on‑site service, travel, and equipment maintenance, working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and on‑call.

Responsibilities

• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Prolonged travel based on service area.
• Carry and/or lift a tool kit and parts weighing 1‑50 lb.
• Dispatched daily on a call‑by‑call basis or follow a daily schedule.
• Work rotating shifts, nights, and/or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑1 years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone) to receive work orders and access support documentation.
• Basic hand tools (not supplied); #1 and #2 flathead and Phillips screwdrivers are most common.

Skills

• High level of personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to pick up new skills quickly.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.

Pay

$18.00 to $21.00 per hour (W2).

Schedule

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on‑call; rotating shifts may be required.
