Roles And Responsibilities
- Generate sales opportunties through outbound calls, email communications, and follow-up activities
- Respond promptly to customer quotes regarding pricing, inventory availability, and delivery
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate solutions with management
- Maintain and meet or exceed established sales and gross margin goals
- Plan territory/account approach and manage own resources
- Absorb and assist in training new team members
- Create account development plans
- Perform inventory management for customer-specific material
- Communicate with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
- Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred
- Three to five years of prior sales or industry experience are preferred
- A solid understanding of product offerings, ERP systems, and markets served is needed
- A general understanding of metal processes and products is beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Office is required
- Minimal travel is required, primarily local during the business day, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected with advance notice
Pay
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The schedule is flexible and typically includes occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority to set and negotiate product/service terms.
