Customer Care Representative
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment while consistently aiming to exceed monthly sales goals.
- Provide exceptional customer care by listening attentively to each individual’s needs and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend the best options for their project or event.
- Prepare, send, and follow up on proposals and customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Support inside sales activities by assisting with quotes, order processing, and customer inquiries.
- Deliver sales support and customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels as needed.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook and Teams, to manage communications, schedules, and follow-ups.
- Organize daily tasks and prioritize workload using strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 5–6 weeks to handle customer needs during extended hours.
- Respond to incoming calls and requests during on-call shifts within the defined operating hours.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of sales support or customer care experience.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting or exceeding sales-related goals.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to listen attentively and understand customer needs to ensure a positive experience.
- Experience analyzing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Background in customer service, sales support, inside sales, or customer success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.
- Accurate data entry skills and experience maintaining customer records.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-direct and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales environments.
- Prior exposure to sales support responsibilities such as quoting, order processing, and follow-up.
- Comfort working with multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Interest in developing into a dedicated sales role over time.

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.85/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Burnie, MD. The role operates in a fast-paced office environment where you will regularly use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams, as well as standard office equipment and systems for data entry and customer communication. There is an on-call rotation every 5–6 weeks, during which you cover extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for incoming requests after regular hours, and from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends. On-call duties do not require you to be in the office, and weekend call volume typically decreases by late morning, with quieter afternoons.
