About the team
The Yard Operations team conducts hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. A successful multi-million dollar auction requires a hardworking team of energetic people in roles such as equipment inspectors, yard managers, operators, administrative staff, and customer service representatives.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status, review account for payment options, communicate account suspension and defaulted status together with penalties when appropriate
- Review and adjust Sales Tax, issuing refunds when appropriate
- Handle the initial stages of dispute resolution – listen to the customer to determine the issue and take the appropriate resolution steps
- Communicate with internal/external customers regarding policies and Terms and Conditions to ensure they understand any limitations on resolution and answer questions as needed
- Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your team, co-workers, and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-3 years working within a collections or sales tax environment with emphasis on customer service and quick resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
