Customer Care Coordinator

About the role

The Customer Care Coordinator ensures a positive and timely experience for customers by managing calls, prioritizing service needs, and maintaining organized records. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Customer Care Manager at our Sacramento, CA facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incoming calls.
• Handle customer complaints, provide solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, process data, and file documents.
• Coordinate service requirements effectively and ensure timely completion.
• Inquire about service requests to ensure one-trip service completion.
• Maintain physical and electronic records.
• Schedule jobs for contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in customer care coordination or administration.
• Proficiency in AS-400 and MS Office Products, including Excel (a plus).
• Excellent phone etiquette, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Positive attitude and ability to de-escalate calls with upset customers.
• Bilingual in Spanish (a plus).

Physical Demands

• Consistently operate a computer and office productivity machinery (telephone, calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.).
• Communicate via phone, email, and in person to exchange accurate information.
• Work primarily involves sitting and standing in an indoor, temperature-controlled office environment.

Pay

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

6:30 AM – 3:10 PM, Monday through Friday.
