Customer Care Associate - Medicaid Long Term Care

About the role

The individual who fills this position will be responsible for providing prompt, professional customer service for Medicaid Long Term Personal Care Calls to ensure that all necessary information is covered and gathered from requestors/recipients in a clear, consistent and professional manner. Ensure that identified problems are promptly addressed, documented and resolved in a timely manner and calls routed to the appropriate units.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional customer service for Medicaid Long Term Personal Care Calls
• Ensure all necessary information is covered and gathered from requestors/recipients in a clear, consistent and professional manner
• Document and resolve identified problems promptly and in a timely manner
• Routinely route calls to the appropriate units
• Multi-task through multiple windows
• Work independently and autonomously
• Adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of two years customer service or call center experience
• At least one year experience working with older adults or persons with disabilities, preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations preferred
• Knowledge of Medicaid preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Able to adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines
• Effective time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $15.00

8:00 am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
