Customer Advisor – Argos (in Sainsbury’s)

As a Customer Advisor, you’ll provide the very best experience for our customers when they visit our stores to shop or collect their online orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products – supporting in the stock room when the store is quiet
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations

Requirements

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

• Friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for understanding our customers and helping them have a great experience.
• Comfortable talking to customers about our financial services when they are buying certain products, making sure the information you share is clear and helpful.
• Happy working at pace in a physical, high-energy environment, pulling together with the team to get more done and support one another.
• Prepared to work flexibly and productively to a high standard across the store, taking ownership and stepping in where needed.
• You’ll be fully trained in a variety of skills, giving you opportunities to learn, develop and try new things.
• Embraces new digital tools and technology, using them confidently to work effectively and deliver brilliant outcomes.
• Has great attention to detail and takes pride in keeping the store clean, safe and clutter-free, creating the best shopping experience for our customers.
