Customer Acquisition & Retention Specialist (Sales)

About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll focus on reactivating and growing existing customers. You'll work 100% company-provided customer contacts, engaging customers who already have a relationship with Quill but haven't ordered recently. Your role is to reconnect, drive new orders, and expand revenue within enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to inactive customers (7+ months)
- Re-engage and convert non-ordering locations within existing accounts
- Possess additional locations tied to enterprise customers
- Handle inbound calls and convert inquiries into sales
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Negotiate pricing and generate quotes
- Use customer data to identify upsell opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
- Collaborate with Account Managers and internal sales teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months of sales or related customer-facing experience OR recent college graduate with interest in sales
- Comfortable making outbound calls daily
- Ability to work 4 days onsite in Lincolnshire, IL
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Pay
$22.75/hour - $27.00/hour, plus incentive opportunity
Schedule
This is a minimum of 4 days in the office at our Lincolnshire, IL location with flexibility for remote work on Fridays.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, 6+ months of sales or related customer-facing experience OR recent college graduate with interest in sales, comfortable making outbound calls daily, ability to work 4 days onsite in Lincolnshire, IL, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years B2B sales or B2B service experience, experience meeting sales or productivity goals (metrics / KPIs), familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar), ability to work onsite at our Lincolnshire, IL location at least 4 days per week
