Customer Accounts Manager

The Customer Accounts Manager role is a key position within Aaron’s, an industry leader in the sales and lease-to-own retail industry. This is more than just a job; it's a career with purpose. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Attain and maintain customers' accounts by updating customer information in the store computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments.
- Assist the General Manager with operational functions, including account recommendations, payment frequency, and payment history monitoring.
- Build authentic customer relationships to support customers in achieving their ownership goals and drive sales.
- Manage the collections process by counseling customers to gain timely lease/merchandise renewals.
- Review and close lease agreements, confirm customer identification, collect money, and obtain customer signatures on lease agreements.
- Contact customers who have not renewed merchandise agreements and maintain customer contacts through phone calls and home visits.
- Maintain customers' information and ensure accuracy.
- Manage the accounts department staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning station for all merchandise personally returned.
- Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets daily.
- Affordably load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
- Safely operate the company vehicle.
- Affordably assist the Sales Team as needed.
- Perform any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR.
- For US residents, at least 21 years old; for Canadian residents, at least 18 years old.
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (US).
- Ability to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly.
- Two years of college or two years of previous management experience preferred.
- A High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High energy with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
- Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
- Professional appearance.
- Proficient computer skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $14.50 to $15.25 per hour/annually. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
